Current Tennessee football commits Harrison Bailey is one of the best quarterbacks in the 2020 recruiting class. He will be on display at the Elite 11 competition.

Tennessee football has one of the best quarterbacks from the 2020 recruiting class committed to their team. According to 247Sports, Harrison Bailey is a four-star recruit from Marietta, GA.

Ranked as the 120th highest-rated prospect, 5th highest pro-style quarterback, and 14th highest-rated from Georgia.

Bailey committed to Tennessee on November 29, 2018, and has been on the recruiting trail harder than any other player I can remember.

Just a week ago, Bailey participated in the Rivals Five-Star Challenge in Atlanta which he won the MVP.

This week the Tennessee commit is at it again only this time he’s on the roster for the Elite 11 camp. He joins guys like Bryce Young (USC), Hudson Card (Texas), Jack Miller (Ohio State), Haynes King (Undecided), Carson Beck (Georgia), and many more top-ranked guys.

At 6-foot-4, Bailey is a good size for an SEC quarterback and is an excellent pocket pass with solid mechanics. He has good touch on short and long passes. Now he isn’t going to surprise anyone on the run game, but he doesn’t have to because of his big arm.

It will be interesting to watch how Bailey compares to Haynes King in the Elite 11 camp. There is still a chance that King makes his way to Tennessee. He’s still undecided and looked upon as one of the best quarterbacks in the class.

I’m willing to say Bailey shows out again and proves himself as the best pro-style quarterback in 2020. It wouldn’t surprise me if Rivals and 247Sports view Bailey as the best quarterback in the class after another year of high school football.

All in all, this is fantastic for Tennessee to have their “guy” performing so well against the other best quarterbacks in the class.
