Other top prospects for Vols at receiver

Dee Beckwith; 3-star

6’5″ 215 lbs; Florence, Ala.; Florence High School

Listed as an athlete, Dee Beckwith could move to receiver or tight end. Tennessee football is in his top three with the South Carolina Gamecocks and Alabama Crimson Tide. With no 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions, the Vols are the unanimous favorite to land him on the Rivals FutureCast and the favorite by a majority on the Rivals FanFutureCast. So they are making real strides here.

Marcus Clarke; 3-star

5’11” 175 lbs; Winter Park, Fla.; Winter Park High School

The Vols are in the top 5 for Marcus Clarke, who is a Florida slot receiver, along with the West Virginia Mountaineers, Florida State Seminoles, Miami Hurricanes and Georgia Bulldogs. There are no real favorites among those schools to land him yet, but Florida State is at the top by a slight majority on the Rivals FanFutureCast.

Ja’Cyais Credle; 3-star

6’4″ 190 lbs; Columbus, Ga.; Carver High School

Again, there’s no favorite for Ja’Cyais Credle except for the South Carolina Gamecocks by a majority on the Rivals FanFutureCast. But the Vols are listed along with the Oregon Ducks as the only two contenders to land the three-star on Rivals, and as a wideout coming from Georgia, he is great news for UT.

Rishard Densmore (Athlete – WR, RB, DB); 3-star

6’1″ 195 lbs; Bessemer, Ala.; Bessemer City High School

Another athlete, Rishard Densmore is listed as a potential running back, receiver or defensive back. UT is competing with the UAB Blazers, Nebraska Cornhuskers and Mississippi State Bulldogs to land him, and while there are no favorites yet, the Rivals FanFutureCast already has him likely to go to Rocky Top. So here’s another prospect Pruitt could add.

Jimmy Holliday (Athlete – WR, RB, DB); 3-star

6’1″ 180 lbs; Flora, Miss.; Madison Central High School

We’re with our second straight guy who could be a running back, receiver or defensive back. Like Rishard Densmore, Jimmy Holliday is a tweener right now between a slot guy or wideout, and his future depends on his growth. The Vols are in the top 5 with theKansas Jayhawks, TCU Horned Frogs, Ole Miss Rebels and Mississippi State Bulldogs, but Ole Miss is the overwhelming favorite.

Jalin Hyatt; 3-star

6’2″ 170 lbs; Irmo, S.C.; Dutch Fork High School

Jalin Hyatt is another player where Tennessee football again the major favorite. The 247Sports Crystal Ball and Rivals FutureCast predictions have the Vols tied with the Virginia Tech Hokies, but the FanFutureCast has them as the favorite by a majority. A three-star slim wideout, Hyatt, could really see his ratings boost if he puts on weight. So watch out.

Jontavis Robertson; 3-star

6’0″ 177 lbs; Gray, Ga.; Jones County High School

Another three-star who could potentially be a slot guy or a wideout, official reports suggest Jontavis Robertson is down to the Vols and the Duke Blue Devils. The only predictions, though, are with UT as the favorite to land him on the Rivals FanFutureCast.

Eric Shaw; 3-star (Athlete)

6’5″ 205 lbs; Notasulga, Ala.; Reeltown, Ala.

The fourth athlete on our list and second guy who could potentially play tight end, Eric Shaw’s size is a huge selling point. UT is competing with six other schools in the South Carolina Gamecocks, Kentucky Wildcats, Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, LSU Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies to land him. Auburn is the unanimous favorite to land him on the Rivals FutureCast, but nothing else is clear.

Kobe Stewart; 3-star

6’3″ 185 lbs; Narbonne, Calif.; Narbonne High School

Kobe Stewart is going national as a California prospect and has Tennessee football in with the West Virginia Mountaineers, the Arizona State Sun Devils, the Illinois Fighting Illini, the Indiana Hoosiers, the Kentucky Wildcats and the Memphis Tigers to land him. Again, he is a great size prospect who would play wideout, but there are not favorites at the moment.
