Other top prospects for Vols at DE (No other top prospects at DT)

Simeon Barrow Jr.; 3-star

6’3″ 254 lbs; Grovetown, Ga.; Grovetown High School

A three-star on Rivals, Simeon Barrow Jr. is the No. 50 ranked player at his position. Tennessee football is competing with the Michigan State Spartans and Virginia Tech Hokies to land this other Georgia prospect, and while the 247Sports Crystal Ball or Rivals FutureCast have no predictions, the Rivals FanFutureCast is between MSU and the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Deontae Craig; 3-star

6’3″ 225 lbs; Culver, Ind.; Culver Academies High School

Deontae Craig could play outside linebacker. The three-star is the No. 27 ranked player at his position, and he has the Vols on a list with the Indiana Hoosiers, Iowa Hawkeyes, Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans. There are no 247Sports Crystal Ball or Rivals FutureCast favorites, but the Purdue Boilermakers are the favorites by a plurality on the Rivals FanFutureCast.

DeShawn Lynch; 3-star

6’4″ 275 lbs; Folsom, Calif.; Folsom High School

A three-star California prospect, DeShawn Lynch is not ranked anywhere nationally on Rivals. The Vols are competing with four West Coast schools to land him: the Arizona State Sun Devils, the USC Trojans, the Oregon State Beavers and the Oregon Ducks. Oregon is the unanimous favorite on the Rivals FutureCast, FanFutureCast and 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction.

6’5″ 245 lbs; Fairfield, Ala.; Fairfield High School

In Jeremy Pruitt’s home state, Tennessee football is making a play for Reginald Perry, a three-star who is ranked the No. 25 player at his position. The Vols are competing with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Ole Miss Rebels, Kentucky Wildcats and UAB Blazers to land him. With no official predictions yet, the Rivals FanFutureCast has Rocky Top as the favorite to land him by a plurality.
