Evaluating Tennessee football’s 2020 recruiting class at dead period: Vols Linebackers
Other potential prospects for Vols at LB
JaQues Evans; 3-star
6’2″ 230 lbs; Dublin, Ga.; Dublin High School
Listed as a three-star athlete, JacQues Evans would likely be a linebacker in college. And he could play inside linebacker as well for Tennessee football, adding to the list. But he has no favorites yet, and there are no official predictions. The only one is the Rivals FanFutureCast, which is unanimously predicting this Georgia prospect will end up with the South Florida Bulls.
Kevon Haigler; 3-star
6’1″ 220 lbs; Hartsville, S.C.; Hartsville High School
A three-star outside linebacker from South Carolina, Kevon Haigler is a bit undersized at 6’1″ 220 pounds. Again, there are no official favorites to land him, but on this one, the Vols are the unanimous favorites to get him on the Rivals FanFutureCast. He would be a solid pickup, and if he put on some weight, Jeremy Pruitt would certainly have use for him. So keep an eye on Haigler.
Jemari Littlejohn; 3-star
6’0″ 225 lbs; Gaffney, S.C.; Gaffney High School
Yes, we’re down to another South Carolina outside linebacker. Jemari Littlejohn is another three-star who has slightly more size but slightly less height than Kevon Haigler. Again, there are no leaders for him, but the West Virginia Mountaineers are the favorites by a majority on the Rivals FanFutureCast, so keep an eye on what UT does here.
Isaiah Ratcliff; 3-star
6’0″ 200 lbs; Ellenwood, Ga.; Cedar Grove High School
We’re all on South Carolina and Georgia prospects on this page, and Isaiah Ratcliff is the one being rated solely on potential. At 6’0″ 200 pounds, the three-star clearly needs to put on weight. He’s listed as an inside linebacker, and again, there are no leaders. The Kansas State Wildcats are the favorites by a plurality on the Rivals FanFutureCast, but that means nothing right now.
