Tennessee football doesn’t take the stage at SEC Media Days until Tuesday. However, here are five things overall for Volunteers fans to focus on.

SEC Media Days is here! Yes, the start of the 2019 college football preseason always begins with this exciting event, and nobody in the south cares that it’s a total circus. In the heart of July, what else is there to focus on?

Although Tennessee football takes the stage Tuesday, this event offers numerous things for fans throughout the week. And Vols fans, like fans of other teams, will have plenty of reason to pay attention to things going on.

After all, what happens to one team in the conference can affect everybody. And administrator decisions are also a big deal. As a result, it’s important for UT fans to keep an ear out for everything that’s happening this week.

With SEC Media Days back in Hoover, Ala. after one year in Atlanta, things would seem to be returning to normal. But the league is still undergoing numerous transitions, just as the sport does every year.

So as we get set to take a look at things Vol fans should focus on beyond just what will happen when they take the stage Tuesday, know that this is part of numerous news stories that have occurred throughout the offseason. Some of them directly relate to Rocky Top, while others are about the league as a whole.

But hey, part of the league is caring about every team, whether it be hating a rival or engaging in public feuds with other individuals. All of our storylines, however, have some effect on the Vols. Heck, the things we’re mentioning mostly affect every team, but some are more important because of their specific relation to UT. Each topic stands on its own, though.
