No.5 – Worried about the injuries / J.J. Peterson?

Trey Smith still isn’t healthy. At least he isn’t 100 percent, yet. Smith was the highest-rated prospect from Tennessee in the 2017 recruiting class. The five-star offensive linemen came in and made a difference on day one.

Smith will make a huge impact on a young offensive line if he is healthy enough to play. He could be the missing piece to the Vols having a decent offensive line next season.

About a month ago, it was reported that wide receiver Jauan Jennings went down with an injury in a workout. Is it serious? Will Jennings be ready for the opening game? We need all these answers because Jennings is entering his redshirt senior season and is one of the leaders on the team.

Finally, what is up with J.J. Peterson? Why can’t this relationship be the match made in Heaven like everyone thought it would be? Peterson was a four-star in the 2018 class from Moultrie, GA.

Coming into Tennessee, Peterson was highly sought after He could make plays in space and was fantastic getting to the quarterback. He could also drop back and was good in coverage.

However, Peterson has been quiet, to say the least with Tennessee. Can that change next season?
