No.2 – What Freshman could surprise?

The easy answer is Darnell Wright or Wanya Morris. Both guys come to Tennessee as five-star prospects looking to make an early impact.

Wright is from Huntington, WV. The 6-foot-6, 320 pounder is a big guy but carries it well and can move. He is every bit good enough to play left tackle for an SEC school. He’s every bit good strong enough to overpower defensive linemen, yet quick enough to pick up a blitz from anywhere on the field.

Morris is the other five-star who many thinks has the most potential on the Vols. The 6-foot-6, 312 pounder from Loganville, GA is probably going to be the starting left tackle for Georgia State. Like Wright, Morris is powerful and athletic for his size.

One other name that Pruitt could name is Henry To’oto’o, an outside linebacker from Concord, CA. To’oto’o has been in the news, well twitter news, for liking a lot of tweets from Washington staffers. However, keeping the four-star linebacker on the Vols will be huge. To’oto’o could easily start next season.

Other names of players that could have big first years are Quavaris Crouch, Ramel Keyton, and Eric Gray.
