An ultimate gamer for Tennessee football, Jauan Jennings is likely to be the Vols’ No. 1 receiver this year on plays from the line of scrimmage. That should give you an idea of how deep this list of seniors is for 2019. Jennings is finally poised for a breakout season while playing in the right system. Jim Chaney’s style is perfect for him.

Remember, in 2016, the last year he was fully healthy, he had 40 receptions for 580 yards and seven touchdowns, including the go-ahead touchdown against the Florida Gators and the game-winning Hail Mary touchdown against the Georgia Bulldogs. He then had a season-ending injury in 2017, was dismissed, and came back in 2018 after missing most of the offseason.

It took Jennings time to get fully back into rhythm, but when he did, he came through, catching 30 balls for 438 yards and three touchdowns. That included the go-ahead touchdown reception in their upset win over the Auburn Tigers.

Simply put, Jennings is a ball player. He’s a leader, and he riles up the fans and coaches and everybody around him. As a fifth-year senior, he’s likely looking to make a major splash this year, and he’ll have the chance to do it. This guy clearly belongs on our list of top seniors.
