The Arkansas Razorbacks can thank the Tennessee Vols for moving them up from last place in our SEC Power Rankings. And with so many teams in the conference losing this past weekend, people may think it unfair that we have them down even at No. 13. But don’t get it twisted, this team looks horrible as well.

Yes, getting dominated by a 2-10 Sun Belt teams puts you at the bottom of this list. Needing a fourth quarter touchdown and a late interception to beat and FCS team is almost just as bad. You don’t get any props for that, and as a result, yes, we have the Hogs still down here. Dominating an FCS team doesn’t get you anywhere. Struggling can hurt you.

Similar to Jeremy Pruitt, Chad Morris was supposed to have a splash second year with his system finally taking off. But this offensive genius only scored 20 points against an FCS school! So how in the world can we expect any improvement in Fayetteville at this point?

Luckily for the Hogs, they may have a chance at a conference win next week, as they face an Ole Miss Rebels team that also lost to a Group of Five school. If they pull off a huge upset there, then 4-0 is a real possibility with the Colorado State Rams and San Jose State Spartans coming to town right after that.
