Joining his fourth team in four years, Cordarrelle Patterson is reuniting with the guy who threw him all the balls his one year with Tennessee football back in 2012. That’s right, he and Tyler Bray are now teammates. But Bray is on the practice squad while Patterson figures to play a major role in the offensive rotation.

Coming off a year in which he helped the New England Patriots win the Super Bowl, which is a year after his one season with the Oakland Raiders, Patterson is probably looking for stability. The Pats maximized his versatility last year, as he had 247 receiving yards and a career-high 228 rushing yards. He also had a kickoff returned for a touchdown as part of five total touchdowns.

Obviously, going to Chicago, he’s got the legacy of Devin Hester to live up to when it comes to being a returner. Patterson is not likely to live up to that legacy, but with the Pats, Raiders and his first four years in the league with the Minnesota Vikings, he has shown that he is a deadly weapon with the ball in his hands.

As a result, Patterson has done more than enough to make this list. A two-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion, you don’t get much more accomplished than him in the pros, and despite just one year on Rocky Top, he’s a standout guy.
