One of 13 SEC games this week involves Tennessee football trying to rebound. Here are our Week Two Volunteers, Southeastern Conference and top 25 picks.

Well it’s safe to say Tennessee football cost a lot of people in Vegas some money during the first week of the season. And it has completely reset the expectations for the Vols, and how to bet on them, going forward.

But we’re back for the second week of 2019 with our picks. Maybe things will get a little more predictable on Rocky Top this time. After all, an upset loss to the Georgia State Panthers was a complete disaster.

That wasn’t the only disaster over the weekend, though, when it came to our picks, particularly in the SEC. Here is a look at how we did up or down and then how we did on our gambling predictions, including the Over/Under and against the spread. You can read about the picks we made here.

Record for Week One predictions: 10-3

Gambling Record: 9-14-1

Against the spread: 5-6-1

On the Over/Under: 4-8

Okay, I plead guilty. This was a horrendous week for us on the books, so our goal is to try to make your money back over time. After all, this is a marathon, not a sprint, and we have the same goals to turn things around that Tennessee football does.

This week, our predictions once again include only SEC teams. There are 13 games featuring teams in the conference, including one featuring two teams in the conference and two others featuring top 25 teams.

Simply put, despite a rough start to the year, this is the only conference so far generating any headlines for its out of conference games. At least we got the spread right on the Auburn Tigers and Oregon Ducks last week, and that one was a thriller.

As usual, we’ll do all 13 games in the order of which they are played except for Tennessee football’s game, which we save for last. Maybe they can get things going this time. But lots of other teams need to turn it around as well. Let’s see if any of them do in our Week Two SEC and Top 25 predictions.
