839. . . . K'Rojhn Calbert. 5. player

The Florida Gators already have 16 sacks on the year, including 10 they got in the opener against the Miami Hurricanes. Meanwhile, Jarrett Guarantano has already struggled with making plays in time. That makes for a bad combination in which Tennessee football could be sacked routinely on Saturday if things don’t go right.

One guy who could help cut down on that is K’Rojhn Calbert. Jeremy Pruitt has recently been relying on him at right tackle over Marcus Tatum, and that’s after an offseason in which Calbert received a ton of praise from all the coaches. Well, Saturday at the Florida Gators is the perfect chance for the 6’5″ 330-pound redshirt sophomore to show what he can do.

Looking at film, Florida’s pressure comes heavily from their left side, meaning they attack the right side of offensive lines. That has a lot to do with defensive end Jabari Zuniga, to be fair, and his health is in question for this week. But that side is likely to still make the difference.

Recently, five-star Darnell Wright has moved inside to right-guard, and Wanya Morris is developing on the other side. But Calbert, who Pruitt says is healthy for the first time since he’s been on Rocky Top, is going to be key for UT. He’ll need to be the main guy protecting Guarantano all day. Otherwise, things could get ugly quick.
