On Saturday, Tennessee football will be looking to shock Florida in Gainesville. Here are 10 keys for the Volunteers and Gators in The Swamp.

It would appear on paper that Tennessee football doesn’t stand a chance in this game. The Gators have won 13 of the last 14 meeting between the two schools, the Vols are 1-2 with no wins against an FBS school yet and no games played against a Power Five school, and Florida is 3-0 with two wins over Power Five schools.

Add in the fact that this game is in Gainesville, and all signs point to UT being a heavy underdog. But stranger things have happened in the world of sports before. Could they happen again when these two take the field on Saturday?

Despite winning their first three games, there’s not a lot of love for the men in Gainesville right now from the national media. Apparently, people don’t like the way they’re winning, and it’s hurting their stock. But that’s not enough for Tennessee football to earn any love.

The Florida Gators have shown some vulnerabilities throughout the year. Some of their biggest strengths, however, directly oppose the Vols’ biggest issues. That could be a disastrous scenario when the two face off in The Swamp on Saturday.

As we get set to break down the factors in the game, it’s important to note that UT will need a lot of things to go right to win. However, they may have just the recipe. Of course, they have to make sure they overcome lots of issues themselves. And it’s still hard to believe they have any real shot of pulling off this upset.

But if they did pull it off, what would have to happen? And how can the Gators make sure it doesn’t happen? Let’s go ahead and break down all of the ways. These are the 10 keys for Tennessee football and Florida when the Vols travel to Gainesville on Saturday.
