And we go to the one game in our college football predictions that doesn’t get a line bet. It also happens to involve the one team the week that Tennessee football doesn’t play who just most recently faced the Vols, or in the case of this season, dominated the Vols to embarrass Rocky Top more than previously imagined.
Dan Mullen’s Florida Gators either play Power Five teams or FCS schools. Seriously, there are no Group of Five FBS schools on the slate this year, as the Towson Tigers are their second FCS program. But they have earned that right after facing the Miami Hurricanes on a neutral site and Kentucky Wildcats on the road in two of their first three games.
This is their week to get a few more things right with Kyle Trask running the show. At 3-1, Towson just lost to the Villanova Wildcats, perhaps because they may have been looking ahead to this game. But will they be able to make anything of this?
Prediction
Whether it’s against the Vols or an FCS school, Florida will dominate bad teams, and that’s no different here. They did it to the UT-Martin Skyhawks just three Saturdays ago. Towson is no type of FCS school to be able to threaten a program like Florida. It will be ugly first because Mullen once to try things ahead of next week’s game against the Auburn Tigers. But UF will dominate.
