Don’t freak out over the Texas A&M Aggies struggling to put away the Arkansas Razorbacks. A 31-27 win looks ugly, but this game is always close, regardless of where the teams stand. Add in the fact that Arkansas shows up to play every other week, and it’s understandable that they would have a close game with that team on a neutral field.

Jimbo Fisher is still rightly getting some flack for that horrible outing against the Auburn Tigers, and now the loss to the Clemson Tigers doesn’t even look that impressive anymore. Starting the year 3-2 and just barely being a top 25 program is not what fans in College Station paid for when they rolled out the red carpet for Fisher.

As of right now, these guys remain middle of the pack in our SEC Power Rankings. But they have issues on offense, particularly with finding balance, even if Kellen Mond does put up numbers like he did this past weekend.

That makes this weekend the perfect time for A&M to be on their bye week. After that, though, they need to give the Alabama Crimson Tide at home a game to earn some respect back. Then they have a chance to get on a run with the Ole Miss Rebels on the road and then the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Texas San Antonio Roadrunners and South Carolina Gamecocks all at home.
