As they continue to be on a hot streak, Tennessee football has numerous Volunteers who could still earn postseason recognition.

When you start winning, you start to get a good bit of love. Such is the case for Tennessee football. The Vols are now on a four-game winning streak and have won five of six to turn their season around for 1-4 to 6-5.

Their turnaround has been a combination of established veterans stepping up their play, stars getting healthy, elite players continuing their play and young players beginning to develop. All of these things have played a role in what has happened over the past few weeks.

Because of that, Tennessee football is bowl eligible for the first time in three years. They also could finish the season with a winning record in the SEC and go undefeated in November for the first time in four years.

Say what you want about the way the schedule broke for them this year, but the fact of the matter is the Vols have improved dramatically, and finishing with a winning record is an insane accomplishment given how they started things out. Lots of people are responsible for that too.

With this turnaround comes a lot of lot of individuals who could receive a good bit of postseason recognition. From awards to national recognition to conference recognition, it’s safe to say lots of people affiliated with Rocky Top are still in line for such honors.

In this post, we’re going to break down the people who make that list. We’ve gotten it down to 15. These honors include individual national and SEC awards, potential All-American awards, potential All-SEC awards and potential Freshman All-American and All-SEC awards.

Anybody we name is still in the hunt to make one of those lists. We’ll rank them by likelihood of receiving something as well. So let’s go ahead and break down who they are. These are the 15 Vols who could still earn postseason recognition for Tennessee football following Week 13 of the 2019 college football season.
