The Vanderbilt Commodores visiting Tennessee football leads our Volunteers, Southeastern Conference and top 25 predictions for Week 14 of 2019.

We’ve reached the final week of the 2019 regular season. And while our turnaround was admirable this year, it has fallen behind what Tennessee football has been able to do. Time is running out for us to catch up.

To be fair, there’s nothing like rivalry week to catch up. And while we fell behind the Vols, we haven’t fallen behind the eight-ball overall. We’re still above water and trying to get our gambling picks to turn a profit.

Can we do it before the regular season ends? Well, we didn’t get any closer last Saturday, but we didn’t fall behind either. Here is a look at how we did with our predictions on all fronts, straight-up and gambling.

Record for Week 13 predictions straight-up: 8-1

Gambling Record:  4-4

Against the spread: 2-2

On the Over/Under: 2-2

We just missed Tennessee football giving us two wins, as they covered but the game hit the under by one point. Meanwhile, the Ohio State Buckeyes blowing a late lead cost us, even though they one. And UT’s win was the only one we missed straight-up, even though we got that spread right. This is how we got to .500. Here’s where we stand overall.

Overall record for predictions straight-up: 98-24

Gambling Record: 107-103-4

Against the spread: 58-46-3

On the Over/Under: 49-57-1

As you can see, we are above 50 percent. But we haven’t hit that 52.3 percent mark yet, which is what you need to turn a profit. That’s what this week is about, and there are lots of games giving us the chance to do that.

Every SEC team plays this week, and four have non-conference games. That makes for nine SEC games overall. We also have four non-SEC games involving two top 25 teams, including a Group of Five game to pick.

So overall, we have 13 games to pick. As usual, are lines come from Action Sports network, and we will pick every game in the order of which they are scheduled while closing out with the Vols. Here are our Tennessee football, SEC and top 25 predictions for Week 14 of 2019.
