No. 7 Baylor Bears vs. No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners

Big 12 Championship Game

Line: Oklahoma -9; Over/Under: 64; TV: ABC

Saturday, Dec. 7 at Noon ET; AT&T Stadium; Arlington, Texas

This is another conference championship game with College Football Playoff implications. It’s a rematch of a thriller from just a couple of weeks ago, which could make this really interesting. Both of these teams will be rooting for the Utah Utes to lose to the Oregon Ducks before playing this game.

The Baylor Bears blew a huge lead to the Oklahoma Sooners at home for their only loss of the year. They want revenge after not playing like themselves at all in that matchup. If they had won that game, they would control their own destiny to reach the playoff right now.

On the other hand, Oklahoma is the better team. And the only reason they don’t control their own destiny is because of a heartbreaking upset loss to the Kansas State Wildcats. They have played with fire in the Big 12 all year, but they appeared to finally regroup and dominate the Oklahoma State Cowboys on the road.

Prediction

Oklahoma’s rematch games the past two years have been convincing wins, but one was against a team they blew out earlier in the year, and the other was a revenge game. This time, they are the ones being hunted for revenge. Despite missing the last time, we’re still taking the over again. But Baylor will be ready to play. So while OU wins again, they don’t cover. It’s another thriller.

Oklahoma: 38 Baylor: 35 (Baylor +9; Over 64)
