Postseason ball is set for Tennessee football. The Volunteers will face the Hoosiers in Jacksonville, Fla. Here are five things to know about this game.

With a five-game winning streak and a 7-5 record, Tennessee football will face the 8-4 Indiana Hoosiers in the 2019 Gator Bowl. Jeremy Pruitt’s second team surprisingly secured a winning record, and now they are looking for eight wins.

There is clearly lots of history with the Vols and the Gator Bowl and even a little bit with UT and Indiana. The two programs are dramatically different in terms of historical success, but they do have some connections.

So while Tennessee football probably would have preferred a foe that is a bit more intriguing, the Vols could end up having their hands full with Indiana. After all, nobody they beat during the course of the regular season had eight wins, meaning this is a great chance for them to secure another very solid victory.
