Wideout

1. Jauan Jennings

2015-2019

He is fifth on UT’s all-time receiving list with18 touchdowns and sixth in yards with 2,126. This year, Jauan Jennings has 942 yards and nine touchdowns. His 12 career lead-changing touchdowns, including the go-ahead score to beat the Florida Gators in 2016 and the game-winning Hail Mary catch at the Georgia Bulldogs, make him the go-to receiver on this list.

2. Justin Hunter

2010-2012

Back in 2010, Justin Hunter was Tennessee football’s future. As a freshman, he and Tyler Bray had incredible rapport. Despite a season-ending injury in 2011, he came back and achieved All-SEC honors in 2012 with 1,083 yards and nine touchdowns. He had 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns in those three years before leaving early. So Hunter is clearly the No. 2 starting wideout.

3. Josh Malone

2014-2016

Early on Jennings was the No. 2 receiver to Josh Malone. But Malone was a star for the Vols, particularly in 2016. That year, he had 972 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. For his career, in just three years, he had 1,608 yards and 14 touchdowns. Malone also left early for the pros, but he was a game-changer similar to Jennings. So he’s the first wideout off the bench.

4. Da’Rick Rogers

2010-2011

Despite his dismissal after his sophomore season, it was hard to deny Da’Rick Rogers’s production. In 2011, he led the SEC with 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns. He was the only player able to consistently produce after Tyler Bray went down with injury through the hardest part of their schedule. It was enough for us to put him here as the other backup wideout.
