Scouting Report. Wide Receiver. 839. Pick Analysis. Senior. Marquez Callaway. 5. player

There are two staples of the Indiana Hoosiers this year: They are bad at defending punts, and they have allowed a receiver to go off in three of their four losses. Well, Marquez Callaway fits the bill on both accounts, so he could end up being a huge player for Tennessee football in his final game with the Vols.

Callaway is an All-SEC player as a punt returner, and Indiana has the No. 96 ranked punt return defense, allowing 10 yards a punt return. Now, they haven’t allowed a touchdown yet, but you have to believe they’re due for one, and that’s what will make Callaway such a dangerous player against them. He has already come through in both ways this season.

Against the South Carolina Gamecocks, Callaway had over 100 yards receiving, a receiving touchdown and a punt return touchdown. So he is capable of doing it all if a team is not careful, and this is the type of game in which the Vols will need him to step up and do it again.

Throughout his career, Callaway has been an elite returner for Rocky Top. He returned a punt for a touchdown in three of his four years with the Vols, and this will be his final chance to make such a statement. UT could use him stepping up like that in a big way, and him racking up another 100-yard receiving game would just be a bonus.
