In the midst of a three-game losing streak, the Tennessee Lady Vols host the Aggies Sunday. Here is our women’s basketball Volunteers preview.

They’re running out of chances. Right now, the Tennessee Lady Vols have only one quality win, at home over the LSU Tigers. But after losing to LSU on the road this past Thursday, which came on the heels of them losing to the South Carolina Gamecocks and Mississippi State Bulldogs, they have missed out on other chances at signature victories.

Sunday provides another opportunity as the No. 16 ranked Texas A&M Aggies head to town. Kellie Harper’s team, still ranked No. 25 in the AP Poll, is playing its first game at home with Rennia Davis healthy since that win over LSU.

With both teams at 7-4 in the SEC, this is a matchup to see who can still remain at least tied for fourth place in league play. UT is 17-7 overall, and A&M is 19-5. Here is all the information you need for the Tennessee Lady Vols’ matchup.

Rocky Top has not beaten any team this year currently ranked in the top 25, although LSU could break in later this week. Still, that gives them a big opportunity on Sunday to finally prove they are taking a step forward in Harper’s first year on the job.

Texas A&M snapped a two-game losing streak by blowing out the Vanderbilt Commodores this past week. Before that, Gary Blair’s team lost to Mississippi State and LSU. However, they only lost by one to LSU on the road, so they are clearly a dangerous team.

Up next for the Tennessee Lady Vols is a trip to the No. 23 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks. After that, though, their final three games of the year are against teams outside of the top 100 of the RPI. So these are their last two chances at quality wins, and they need to secure at least one more.
