On a four-game losing streak, the Tennessee Lady Vols will host the Arkansas Razorbacks Thursday. Here is our women’s basketball Volunteers preview.

Can they finally get a second quality win? Ever since the brutal stretch run of their season began, the Tennessee Lady Vols have struggled. Now, they are on a four-game losing streak and coming off a close loss to the Texas A&M Aggies.

Looking to right the ship, UT hits the road for one more chance at a second standout victory. Kellie Harper’s team heads to Fayetteville to face the red-hot Arkansas Razorbacks, who are ranked No. 22 in the AP Poll and No. 25 in the Coaches Poll.

At 17-8 overall and 7-5 in the SEC, Rocky Top has slid out of the top 25. But a win here could sneak them back into it if things go right. Here is all the information you need for the Tennessee Lady Vols’ Thursday matchup.

Before losing to Texas A&M, the Lady Vols lost at the South Carolina Gamecocks, at home against the Mississippi State Bulldogs and at the LSU Tigers. A win at home over LSU is their only standout win on the year so far. This is their final chance at a standout win, as their final three games after this are against teams outside of the top 100 of the RPI.

Arkansas, meanwhile, has a 20-5 record and 8-4 SEC record. They have scored over 100 points in each of their last two wins, one of which was a 103-85 thrashing of the Kentucky Wildcats. So this is a very tough team, and the Lady Vols have to be ready.

Up next for the Tennessee Lady Vols will be two home games against the Vanderbilt Commodores and Ole Miss Rebels, and then they’ll close things out with a trip to the Auburn Tigers before the SEC Tournament begins. But much of the season is riding on this Thursday night matchup.
