Scouting Report. Outside Linebacker. 6. player. Pick Analysis. 4-star. Demeioun Robinson. 839

Just like Appalachia, Tennessee football could be in the process of building a pipeline into the DMV. They got Dominic Bailey, a four-star defensive tackle, out of Baltimore, and they secured a transfer from Maryland Terrapins quarterback Kasim Hill, who is from Washington, D.C. Junior college transfer defensive tackle Savion Williams is also from the District.

Demeioun Robinson is from that area too. He hails from Gaithersburg, Md., which is just 10 miles outside of the District, and it’s also close to West Virginia, so it involves both the West Virginia and the DMV pipelines. On top of that, edge rusher is going to be a major position of need for Rocky Top next year.

A four-star on Rivals out of Quince Orchard High School, Robinson is a top 150 player nationally, the No. 9 ranked player nationally at his position and the No. 8 ranked player in the state of Maryland. At 6’4″ 220 pounds, he already has a great size, so he could definitely fill the void at edge rusher.

Right now, there are no favorites on the Rivals FutureCast or the 247Sports Crystal Ball to land him. However, 247Sports has the Vols in the top four with the Penn State Nittany Lions, Ohio State Buckeyes and Georgia Bulldogs. And UT is a favorite on the Rivals FanFutureCast by a plurality. So they have a great chance at an elite talent.
