2. Arkansas Razorbacks 2018-2019

Tennessee wins 106-87

Jordan Bowden: 19 points; 1 assist; 1 rebound; 1 steal

Lamonte Turner: 21 points; 2 assists; 2 rebounds; 1 steal

This was the best combined scoring performance from these two guys in an SEC game during their careers. At the time, Tennessee basketball had not yet reached No. 1 in the polls, but the Vols were rolling and ranked No. 3 in the nation. The Arkansas Razorbacks came in at 10-6 and 1-3 in the conference, struggling under Mike Anderson. They were still dangerous, though.

Jordan Bowden and Lamonte Turner made sure that danger was irrelevant. They both came off the bench in this game, as Yves Pons got the start at the two-guard position. All they did in response was lead everybody in scoring en route to an offensive onslaught that saw this team break 100 points, winning 106-87.

In just 19 minutes, Turner led everybody with 21 points. He hit six of eight attempts, three of four three-point attempts and all six free throws. Bowden was close to that with 19 points, and he hit six of seven attempts, an incredible five of six three-point attempts and both of his only two free throws. So these two were amazing, combining for 40 points in just 43 total minutes.

Turner had 14 points in the first half alone, and Bowden had 11, which helped the Vols build a 55-34 first-half lead. They were amazing together, and their red-hot shooting simply made the team as a whole unstoppable all night.
