He was an underrated producer for Tennessee football over two years. However, Dominick Wood-Anderson caught the first touchdown ever of the Jeremy Pruitt era on Rocky Top, and this past year, he did have 21 receptions for 268 yards and a touchdown. That came despite three different quarterbacks throwing him the ball, tons of inconsistency there, and teams locking down on him.

In fact, one of the biggest reasons the Vols receivers made such an impact was because teams were so focused on Wood-Anderson in the passing game. It made sense. Coaches were familiar with Jim Chaney, and he had just come off a year coaching Georgia Bulldogs tight end Isaac Nauta to 430 yards receiving and three touchdowns.

So Wood-Anderson served as a decoy lots of times, and he developed into a great run blocker. Then there is his raw potential with his size and the fact that he aced the drills and jumps at the NFL Combine. His 4.92 40-time was concerning but not an eliminating factor as a big receiving target at the next level.

As a result, Wood-Anderson has some legitimate pro potential. Like the other guys we have mentioned so far, though, he is not likely to be selected in the NFL Draft. There just wasn’t enough production from his college days, and he didn’t blow people away at the combine. So he’ll have to be a steal somewhere as an undrafted free agent.
