In the 2020 NFL Draft, Tennessee football’s Marquez Callaway has plenty of great landing spots. Here are the Volunteers wide receiver’s five best.

He spent this past year mostly in Jauan Jennings shadow. But Marquez Callaway still produced for Tennessee football in numerous ways, and he did enough to at least earn a look from different franchises in the upcoming NFL Draft.

As a 6’2″ 204-pound guy who ran a 4.55 40, has great hands and is very shifty with the ball in his hands, Callaway has lots of things that pro franchises should value in a receiver. Then he has his production to back it up.

This past year, Callaway had 30 receptions for 636 yards and six touchdowns as the Vols’ No. 2 receiver along with a punt return for a touchdown. He also was Tennessee football’s leading receiver in yards in 2018 and in touchdowns in 2017, and he has three punt returns for touchdowns in his career. That seems like a guy who should have solid NFL Draft stock.

Simply put, Callaway has proven he can produce in numerous ways. However, he still has to go to the right situation if he’s going to have a chance at a good career in the pros. As we get set to look at those best landing spots for him in the pros, he will have an advantage if there’s a franchise looking to replace a returner or simply one that values special teams.

As usual, the needs of the franchises and competency of each organization will matter. We will also factor in the values of organizations. Some teams, while not led by competent people, still give players at certain positions a great chance to succeed because of where they put their focus.

Could that work in Callaway’s favor? If so, which teams would fit that mold? Let’s go ahead and break all of that down here. These are the five best landing spots for the Tennessee football wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft.
