Live updates

Daniel Bituli signs with Los Angeles Rams

He had to wait four days after the end of the draft, but Daniel Bituli finally got his shot. The Vols linebacker signed a deal with the Los Angeles Rams Wednesday. Bituli was waiting on passing a medical check before a team took a chance on him.

Dominick Wood-Anderson signs with Seattle Seahawks

Although Darrell Taylor was the first Vol to make news with the Seattle Seahawks drafting him in the second round, Dominick Wood-Anderson also made news with that franchise. The Seahawks signed the Vols tight end as an undrafted free agent.

Nigel Warrior signs with Baltimore Ravens

Coming off one of the most productive breakout senior seasons in Vols history, Nigel Warrior being graded as the most effective defensive back against the pass and the run consistently didn’t help him get drafted. Still, the son of UT legacy Dale Carter was signed by the Baltimore Ravens, a place that values elite defenders, so he’s bound to get his shot.

Marquez Callaway signs with New Orleans Saints

Despite not being taken in the draft, Tennessee football wide receive and punt returner Marquez Callaway will get his shot. Callaway signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent. Given the success Shy Tuttle had with that franchise in the same situation a year ago, and given the fact that Alvin Kamara was a steal, Callaway is certain to get a fair shake.

Jauan Jennings selected in the second round by the San Francisco 49ers

He had to wait until the seventh round, but Jauan Jennings ended up in the perfect situation. The San Francisco 49ers, with no size at receiver and having gotten rid of Emmanuel Sanders, selected the 6’3″ target from Rocky Top.

Darrell Taylor selected in the second round by the Seattle Seahawks

After two weeks of seeing his NFL Draft stock rise dramatically, Tennessee football edge rusher Darrell Taylor was the first Vol taken in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Seattle Seahawks traded up to the 48th pick to take him.
