4. Arian Foster

Running Back (2009-2016)

Teams played for:

  • Houston Texans (2010-2014)
  • Miami Dolphins (2015-2016)

Accolades:

  • Two-time first-team All-Pro (2010, 2012)
  • Second-team All-Pro (2011)
  • Four Pro Bowls (2010-2012, 2014)

Both Fosters on Tennessee football’s 2008 offense went undrafted, and in Arian Foster’s case, it was due to not fitting in with Dave Clawson’s system in addition to the horrific offensive performance of the team that year. He also got hurt in a postseason game, which killed his draft stock overall.

Still, Foster got signed by the Houston Texans. After seeing some action in 2009, he burst onto the scene as a star this decade. In his first full year as a starter, Foster led the league in rushing yards with 1,616 and in rushing touchdowns with 16. Two years later, he once again led the league in rushing touchdowns with 15.

Thanks to the elite play of Foster, the Texans were able to make their first three playoff appearances in franchise history in 2011, 2012 and 2015. Foster had over 1,200 rushing yards four times in five years, and he made a Pro Bowl all four times while earning All-Pro three of those times. So he was a superstar.

After seven years, Foster signed with the Miami Dolphins for a year in 2016 and then retired. He finished his career with 6,527 rushing yards and 8,873 total yards from scrimmage in just 80 career games, averaging 110 yards overall per game, along with 68 total career touchdowns. Simply put, the guy was a superstar producer.
