Tennessee football’s top 10 NFL single seasons of 2010s

These are the best individual pro performances for a year by the Tennessee football Volunteers.

Even in a down decade, Tennessee football had no shortage of elite NFL talent. Numerous Vols stepped up and had memorable seasons in the pros from 2010 to 2019, often times bursting onto the scene as they did it.

Rocky Top saw record-setting years, MVP seasons and lots of All-Pro winners. The Vols had a league leader in passing yards, passing touchdowns, rushing yards, rushing touchdowns and return yards all at least one time in a season throughout the 2010s.

To be fair, they also had some elite defensive talent as well. Tennessee football had players who played for the Vols in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s who had memorable seasons this decade, and some of them are among the greatest in NFL history.

In this post, we’re going to rank the best individual single-season performances by former Vols in the NFL from 2010 to 2019. This is just a look at what a player was able to accomplish in one full season on the job.

Of course, numerous players made this list multiple times, and all of them are recognizable players at that level. Although some of them have retired, some of them are still playing and may be on to even greater accomplishments this decade.

Making a Pro Bowl alone won’t be enough to qualify for this list. Players have to have won national awards of some sort, led the league in a category or set a record. That’s how great some of the players who came through Rocky Top were in the pros during this decade.

Which players are we talking about, though? How great were they, what season were they great in and which teams did they do it with? Let’s break all of that down here. These are the 10 best single-season NFL performances by former Tennessee football players from 2010 to 2019.
