Honorable Mentions
Arian Foster: 2011
After his 2010 breakout season, Arian Foster continued his dominance in 2011. He was Second-Team All-Pro this year with 278 carries for 1,224 yards and 10 touchdowns to go along with 617 receiving yards and another two touchdowns. His play helped the Houston Texans make their first playoff appearance in franchise history.
Arian Foster: 2012
We’re not done with Arian Foster yet. He returned to First-Team All-Pro honors with a league-leading 15 rushing touchdowns this year, and once again he had two receiving touchdowns to make for 17 overall. Foster had 351 carries for 1,424 yards. Oh, and the Houston Texans made the playoffs again. Foster’s drop in average is why this missed the top 10 list.
Jason Witten: 2012
Joining Arian Foster for 2012 is Jason Witten. This would be his final All-Pro season to date, as he earned Second-Team with 110 receptions for 1,039 yards and three touchdowns for the Dallas Cowboys. Witten, Foster and Manning were all Tennessee football players to get named in this post for elite 2012 seasons.
Cordarrelle Patterson: 2016
Another First-Team All-Pro campaign from Cordarrelle Patterson with the Minnesota Vikings here saw him lead the league with 31.7 yards per kickoff return, have another touchdown and add 453 receiving yards with two touchdowns. Although he had two kickoff return touchdowns in 2015, his receiving production helped 2016 make the list.
Alvin Kamara: 2018
Following up on his elite rookie campaign, Alvin Kamara actually increased his production from scrimmage with the New Orleans Saints in 2018. He had 1,592 yards from scrimmage and 18 total touchdowns. However, his yards per carry averaged dipped from over six to under four and a half, and he didn’t have the return touchdown, so his overall production just missed the top 10 list.
