839. Pick Analysis. 2007-2010. Luke Stocker. 4. player. Scouting Report. Years in NFL: 9

Teams played for:

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 2011-2017
  • Tennessee Titans, 2017-2018
  • Atlanta Falcons, 2019

Again, longevity matters. Luke Stocker had 956 receiving yards and eight touchdowns for Tennessee football, playing for Phillip Fulmer, Lane Kiffin and Derek Dooley. In 2011, he was drafted in the fourth round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After six and a half years there, a year and a half with the Tennessee Titans and a year with the Atlanta Falcons, Stocker has been a model of consistency. During his nine years, he only has 76 receptions for 630 yards and five touchdowns.

However, as a 6’5″ 253-pound blocking tight end, Stocker has proven his value as a blocker. He has appeared in 114 games and actually started in 77 of them. As a result, he belongs on this list. Stocker hasn’t signed with a team since his last season with Atlanta, but his production already, playing in the pros for nearly a decade, is more than enough to put him on this list.

Joining the Titans midway through the 2017 season, Stocker did his part to help the team reach the playoffs for the first time since 2008 and win its first playoff game since 2003 thanks to an elite rushing attack. That has to count for something.

It’s worth noting that Stocker can clearly be a receiving threat, though, when he needs to be, so he’s made sure to fulfill the role as a blocking tight end in the pros perfectly. He has been underrated as a former Vol at the next level.
