Other top prospects still in play

Note: These are prospects who are not considered elite based on their ratings but still solid prospects who are on on Tennessee football’s radar and have no favorites yet. As a result, once again, they are worth keeping an eye on.

Scottie Alexander

  • Ratings: Three-star (Unanimous)
  • Size: 6’1″ 184 pounds
  • Hometown: Collierville, Tenn.
  • High School: Collierville

Just outside of Memphis, Scottie Alexander would help Tennessee football continue to establish the pipeline it has into West Tennessee under Jeremy Pruitt. Collierville is one place in the reason Pruitt hasn’t gone to yet, but Alexander could be a first pickup. He is listed as an athlete on Rivals and has no favorites yet, but the Vols and Memphis Tigers are clearly in play.

Bryce Fleetwood

  • Ratings: Three-star (Unanimous)
  • Size: 6’3″ 178 pounds
  • Hometown: Lilburn, Ga.
  • High School: Parkview

Going from in-state talent back to the state of Georgia, Bryce Fleetwood is another guy who provides great size. He could put on some muscle, but the potential is there. Fleetwood’s teammate, four-star running back Cody Brown, recently committed to the Vols, so Pruitt has a direct pipeline into the state. Given his size, Fleetwood could be a recruiting steal.

Reece Jesse

  • Ratings: Three-star (Unanimous)
  • Size: 6’2″ 180 pounds
  • Hometown: Hopkinsville, Ky.
  • High School: Hopkinsville

Why not try to get some talent out of Kentucky? Reece Jesse has solid size, even if it’s not as great as Bryce Fleetwood, and even if he’s not in a pipeline state. However, he has no leaders, and the Vols offered him for a reason. As a result, he’s worth keeping an eye on.
