Hudson Wolfe

  • Ratings: Four-star (Rivals, ESPN); Three-star (247Sports)
  • Size: 6’6″ 235 pounds
  • Hometown: Savannah, Tenn.
  • High School: Hardin County

There’s a great history of Tennessee football going in-state for tight end talent. Jason Witten stands out among those guys, and Austin Pope is another one who figures to start this year. Well, Hudson Wolfe is a standout who is a huge reason for UT’s top five class right now. He is currently, UT’s most recent commitment, dating back to June 15. He could make an immediate impact.

Miles Campbell

  • Ratings: Four-star (247Sports); Three-star (Rivals, ESPN)
  • Size: 6’4″ 230 pounds
  • Hometown: Douglasville, Ga.
  • High School: South Paulding

Taking all the different ratings into account, Wolfe is easily the top tight end in the Vols’ 2021 recruiting class right now. However, Miles Campbell is another elite Georgia prospect who provides his own value. He committed back in the middle of May, and while he doesn’t have Wolfe’s size, he clearly has potential.

Trinity Bell

  • Ratings: Three-star (Unanimous)
  • Size: 6’7″ 260 pounds
  • Hometown: Albertville, Ala.
  • High School: Albertville

Despite being listed as a defensive end on Rivals and ESPN, Trinity Bell is an athlete who may end up playing tight end as well. The Alabama prospect committed in May as well, and he clearly provides great size for the position, and his versatility could come in handy. Those offset his three-star ratings across the board. We’ll just have to see where Jeremy Pruitt puts him.

Roc Taylor

  • Ratings: Three-star (Unanimous)
  • Size: 6’4″ 207 pounds
  • Hometown: Oxford, Ala.
  • High School: Oxford

Another Alabama prospect, Roc Taylor committed to the Vols in April and needs to figure out what he’s going to be. After all, he is listed as a wide receiver on 247Sports and an athlete on ESPN. That’s likely due to him being undersized. We’re counting him as a tight end here, though, and that should be his focus. He just needs to put on muscle.
