Redshirt Junior. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 7. 839. Offensive Lineman. K'Rojhn Calbert

One of the many Butch Jones recruits who appears to have found himself under Jeremy Pruitt, K’Rojhn Calbert has lots of exciting possibilities with Tennessee football this year. He’s likely not going to be a starter because of how loaded the Vols are on the offensive line, but he’s a clear rotational player, and he has proven that he can play lots of different positions up front.

At 6’5″ 330 pounds, the in-state product of Warren County Senior High School in McMinnville, Tenn., Calbert did appear in all 13 games last season and made five starts at right tackle. Similar to Jahmir Johnson, tackle is where his speciality is, and like Johnson, he can provide immediate depth there as a key rotational player behind Darnell Wright and Wanya Morris.

Over the past two years, he has been fine as a depth guy. However, there is still the concern with his injury history. Like Cheyenne Labruzza, Calbert was a 2017 recruit who had a season-ending injury as a true freshman. He actually had to miss all of the season to repair a pre-existing knee injury, so his health issues predate even the failed conditioning programs Butch Jones had.

Now, since arriving on campus, he’s largely been fine. But entering his fourth year in the program and his third year in Jeremy Pruitt’s system, that past is still there. As a result, he is a bit of an injury concern for the Vols, and since he’s a rising star, his health is a bigger concern than many other players.
