These Bama players will be key against the Tennessee football Volunteers.

Given the state of Tennessee football right now, every Alabama Crimson Tide starter could come away with a big play on Saturday. There is nothing to suggest the Vols are even in the same stratosphere as Nick Saban’s program anywhere on the field. So what’s new?

Anyway, what’s even scarier about this for UT is that Alabama has a few strengths that directly exploit the worst issues facing Jeremy Pruitt’s team right now. Everything we have seen from Rocky Top over the past two weeks plays right into the hands of some of Bama’s best players.

If Tennessee football is going to have any shot of not making this the most embarrassing game ever on Saturday, it will have to make sure those players don’t go off. This is just as important as the Vols players making sure they step up.

When you just lost 34-7 to the Kentucky Wildcats and are playing a team that just beat the Georgia Bulldogs, that’s easier said than done. Simply put, UT is in serious trouble, and they’re going to have to offset these disadvantages.

As we get set to look at the key players for Alabama on Saturday, we’ll be looking at which players are the best matchups to exploit Rocky Top’s issues. All of the players could exploit the Vols in different ways, but these guys could cash in dramatically.

We’ll also look at a few standout stars who have just done their part to be recognized this year. All of these guys are elite playmakers, and Pruitt and his staff will have to account for them at all times on Saturday.

Should all of these players be held in check, there’s an outside chance this becomes a game. That may be impossible, though. Who poses the biggest threat? Which players could turn this into a quick blowout? Let’s break that down here. These are the five key Alabama Crimson Tide players Tennessee football has to watch out for on Saturday.
