As we know, the biggest strength the Arkansas Razorbacks have is their ability to force interceptions. They have 10 on the year. Just as important is their ability to run back interceptions, as they have returned three for touchdowns on the year. This is not good for Tennessee football, which has allowed four defensive touchdowns, including two pick-sixes, its last three games.

Given that fact, it’s obvious that quite a few defensive backs would be on this list. The first guy we go to on that front is Greg Brooks Jr. As the nickel on Barry Odom’s defense, Brooks is more of a physical defensive back than most of the people in the Hogs’ secondary, and it is proving with his abilities and what he has accomplished so far.

For the year, Brooks is one of three Razorbacks to have multiple interceptions. He has two on the year, one for each of the Hogs’ wins over the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Ole Miss Rebels, and ran one back for a touchdown against MSU. Beyond that, though, he is tied for third on the team in tackles for a loss with three.

Simply put, Brooks can do it all, and Odom uses him wisely. As a result, he’s going to be a major threat to the Vols’ offense given the mistakes Jarrett Guarantano has made throughout the year. Jim Chaney has to prepare for him at all costs, as he could do a lot of damage.
