De'Vion Warren. 4. Wide receiver. Senior. player. 844. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

5’10” 186 pounds; Hometown: Monroe, La.

Running back Rakeem Boyd had all the hype as the Arkansa Razorbacks’ top offensive weapon coming into the year. Trelon Smith has emerged out of his shadows as another elite rusher on the offense. Meanwhile, in the passing game, Treylon Burks is getting all the hype given his production with 26 catches for 366 yards and four touchdowns.

However, none of them are the top offensive weapon posing a threat to to the Vols in this game. That would belong to the No. 2 receiver on the list, De’Vion Warren. Given his small frame, Warren spends a lot more time in the slot, and that is where UT has gotten torched all year. As a result, nobody is a bigger threat to the weaknesses in the Vols’ secondary than Warren.

For the year, Warren has 12 catches for 253 yards and three touchdowns. He had 100 yards in their win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs and 95 yards in their almost-win against the Auburn Tigers. Over the past two games, he’s only had one catch each, but Sam Pittman specifically said this week they need to get him the ball more.

As a result, you can bet an offensive mastermind like Kendal Briles will turn to him a lot this week. Mike Woods could be another receiver who sees a lot of touches, as he has 18 catches for 220 yards and one touchdown, but Warren has the profile and the production to be the biggest threat in this game.
