Tennessee football: Photo gallery from Vols’ 24-13 loss to Arkansas
Here are photos from the Tennessee football Volunteers’ loss to the Razorbacks.
It was a tale of two halves for Tennessee football in their 24-13 loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville, Ark. on Saturday. The Vols had a bunch of fireworks in the first half, as they jumped out to a 13-0 lead and gave fans every reason to believe that they had corrected lots of the mistakes they were making before the bye week.
Then the second half happened, and it was more of the same in many ways. Now, this time, the turnovers weren’t an issue, as they took care of the ball. However, the pass defense was disastrous, the offensive play-calling was atrocious, and the quarterback situation got even worse thanks to an injury to Jarrett Guarantano.
All of that turned this into a day most fans on Rocky Top would once again like to forget. There have been quite a few of those recently. However, there were plenty of things captured worth looking back on before forgetting about it. Here is a photo gallery from Tennessee football’s fourth straight loss on the season.
Now at 2-4 on the season, Tennessee football has to get set to face a red-hot Texas A&M Aggies team while it has numerous questions all over the field. Meanwhile, the Arkansas Razorbacks get to play with house money as they visit the Florida Gators next week.
Simply put, things are coming apart for UT under Jeremy Pruitt now. There is no way he can explain away what just happened, just as he was unable to explain away what happened against the Kentucky Wildcats three weeks ago. Things continue to get worse and worse for him.
It’s almost laughable to think that this team was in the top 15 at one point and that there was any hope for them when they were 2-0 and leading the Georgia Bulldogs 21-17 at halftime. Tennessee football is falling apart once again.
