Returning talent

Tamari Key; Sophomore; 6’5″; Cary, N.C.

The highest-rated post player in the Tennessee Lady Vols’ 2019 recruiting class out of Cary High School in North Carolina, Tamari Key became a starter last year as a true freshman. She led all post players in scoring, averaging nearly seven and a half points, nearly five rebounds and over two and a half blocks. This year, expect her to take a major step forward. She could become a superstar.

Jaiden McCoy; Redshirt senior; 6’3″; Knoxville, Tenn.

A local product out of Farragut High School, Jaiden McCoy joined UT last year as a junior college transfer out of Northwest Florida State College. She averaged just over two and a half points a game, but with Lou Brown gone, there’s a great chance she steps in at the four spot. She’ll be in competition for that job as she enters her senior year.

Kasiyahna Kushkituah; Senior; 6’4″; Atlanta, Ga.

Off the bench, Kasiyahna Kushkituah was a great role player. She backed up Tamari Key at center and averaged nearly five and a half points and four and a half rebounds in just over 15 minutes of play a game. Don’t be surprised if the graduate of St. Francis High School in Georgia pushes Key for the starting spot either this year. As a senior, she’s a major force to be reckoned with.

Emily Saunders; Sophomore; 6’5″; Mullens, W. Va.

Joining Tamari Key as an elite member of UT’s 2019 recruiting class, Emily Saunders was always expected to be a project out of Wyoming East High School in West Virginia. However, she’s another center who provides great length, and in 10 games and barely over eight minutes a game, she averaged over three and a half points and two rebounds. Watch out for her potential.
