Here is the television station for the Tennessee football Volunteers at the Commodores.

So far this year, Tennessee football has played two games on CBS and four games on the SEC Network. This week, at the Auburn Tigers, will finally be their first time playing on ESPN. But there’s still one channel they haven’t played on.

That happens next weekend, when the Vols finally play a game on the embarrassing SEC Network Alternate channel. Yes, the SEC revealed on Monday that’s where UT at the Vanderbilt Commodores will air, and it will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Because of that, pretty much everybody will have to stream Tennessee football’s game at Vanderbilt on WatchESPN. Given the Vols’ 2-4 record and Vandy’s 0-6 record, it makes sense for this to be the game that would be eliminated from regular cable if necessary. The Georgia Bulldogs at the South Carolina Gamecocks will be the game on the main SEC Network channel at that time.

The Vanderbilt game will mark the fourth night-game of the year for the Vols. They have already faced South Carolina and the Arkansas Razorbacks at night and will face Auburn at 7 p.m. ET. Two games have been in the afternoon, Georgia and the Alabama Crimson Tide, both of which were on CBS, and the Missouri Tigers and Kentucky Wildcats were both noon kickoffs.

Last weekend’s scheduled game against the Texas A&M Aggies was supposed to take place at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, but since it was postponed to Dec. 12, we don’t know how it will end up. Speaking of postponements and Texas A&M, the league reported that the Aggies’ matchup with the Ole Miss Rebels has been postponed as well.

That isn’t likely to affect Rocky Top’s scheduled matchup with A&M, but since that game is already on for Dec. 12, it affects when Ole Miss and A&M can reschedule their games. Tennessee football’s two December games are against the Florida Gators on Dec. 5 and then A&M. Neither has a time or a television station set for them yet.
