Defeated Arkansas Razorbacks 63-35

While tons of other teams were off due to their games being postponed, the Florida Gators continued to dominate with their offense. Kyle Trask looked like a Heisman Trophy candidate again with six touchdown passes against the Arkansas Razorbacks, and Dan Mullen has this team rolling. It may be the most fun team to watch in the SEC right now.

Still, we couldn’t move this team up in our SEC Power Rankings. At this stage, we can apply circular logic with two two-loss teams, two one-loss team and the one undefeated team. The difference among those four teams simply comes down to head to head matchups.

This shouldn’t matter to Florida, however. They still control their own destiny in the SEC East and for a shot at the College Football Playoff. That Georgia win was everything and what they needed to get over the hump after three years under Mullen.

With the Vanderbilt Commodores, Kentucky Wildcats, Tennessee football and LSU Tigers as their final four games, the East should be all but a lock as well. However, they face the Vols in Knoxville in December, which could be unfamiliar weather to them as a team from Florida. That’s the only drawback for them at this point, though.
