The Tennessee football Volunteers remain near the bottom of the league.

We are now into December, and there are three more weeks of SEC ball to play. Tennessee football is likely set to have a game all three of those weekends and will be looking for a rebound coming off its second unscheduled bye in three weeks and its third bye in five weeks.

As we get set to deliver our SEC Power Rankings coming off Week 13, the overall layout of the league is becoming more entrenched. There remains a clear last-place team and clear first-place team and a general bottom tier and top tier. It hasn’t really changed over the last month.

Two coaches have already been fired in the league as well, which is having a bit of an impact on how we rank these teams. Let’s go ahead and see where they all stand to kick off December. Here is where Tennessee football and all other 13 teams stand in our SEC Power Rankings following Week 13 of the 2020 season.

0-8. Previous: . Commodores . 14. team. 887.

Lost to Missouri Tigers 41-0

Sarah Fuller starting at place kicker was supposed to make history for the Vanderbilt Commodores. However, they never even gave her a chance to kick a field goal or an extra point, so all she got to do was try a 30-yard squib kick to start the second half.

Meanwhile, the team got shut out by the Missouri Tigers, and Vandy made a move that had been expected for years. They finally parted ways with Derek Mason. As the one winless team in the SEC, they clearly belong at the bottom of our SEC Power Rankings.

Can they get any new rejuvenation with interim head coach Todd Fitch? Well, they face the Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday, so that probably won’t go over too well. Then, if they make up their game with Tennessee football, that will take place on Dec. 19, but it’s still up in the air. If it doesn’t happen, they have no real shot at a win this year.
