Here are clips from the Tennessee football Volunteers’ loss to the Gators.

It was another loss for Tennessee football, clinching their first six-game losing streak since 1988. To make matters worse for them, it’s the first time they have lost six games by double digits in school history. They hadn’t even lost five games by that many before this year.

Such a horrendous showing would suggest all the highlights in this game come from the Florida Gators, who won 31-19 and clinched the SEC East in the process with an 8-1 record. However, the Vols weren’t without a few splash plays, and they came from multiple sources. Two different quarterbacks had touchdown passes.

As we get set to bring you our video highlights, you’ll notice that Tennessee football had some impressive plays. We have to be honest, though, and admit that much of it came in garbage time after Florida called off the dogs. Still, there were things worth relooking at. If you want to relive a bad loss for the Vols, here’s a look at the major video clips from this game.

Harrison Bailey 15-yard touchdown pass to Eric Gray

Kyle Trask four-yard touchdown pass to Trevon Grimes

Kyle Trask two-yard touchdown pass to Kadarius Toney

Kyle Trask eight-yard touchdown pass to Trevon Grimes

Kyle Trask 21-yard pass to Kyle Pitts

Kyle Trask 12-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Copeland

Ty Chandler seven-yard touchdown run

J.T. Shrout 22-yard touchdown pass to Velus Jones Jr.

That was a pretty pass from J.T. Shrout to Velus Jones Jr. late in the game. That it came on a 4th and long and allowed the Vols to cover the 17.5-point spread made it brutal, or sweet for many of the bettors in this game. Either way, that pass was the nicest pass of the nice, and it created a quarterback controversy between Shrout and Harrison Bailey.

Don’t kid yourself, though. The major highlights on the day came from Kyle Trask and that Florida Gators passing attack. Nobody could contain it, and nobody has been able to contain it all year. Dan Mullen’s play-calling was superb for much of the game in the process.

Still, in addition to that touchdown pass, Ty Chandler’s touchdown run was pretty impressive too. Tennessee football had standout touchdowns in that game that made for great visuals, even if the Vols didn’t actually turn this into a great game of any sort.
