Tennessee football moves up in Week 15 SEC Power Rankings

Sam Pittman’s first regular season with the Arkansas Razorbacks ended in a 52-3 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide. However, even a 3-7 record was impressive. Remember, the Hogs were expected to go winless at the start of the season, and given what Pittman inherited, everybody should be proud of what happened.
Sure, Arkansas only has three wins while the Kentucky Wildcats and Ole Miss Rebels each have four. However, all seven of Arkansas’s loses came against the seven teams ahead of them in our SEC Power Rankings. They still managed to beat Ole Miss, Tennessee football and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. That’s wins over a four-win, three-win and two-win team.
Nobody can deny the fact that this team played the hardest schedule arguably in history. To do that with all of their issues was beyond impressive, and while these guys are in the bottom half of the league, they are middle of the pack overall.
Going forward, Arkansas clearly has a bright future. Remember, these guys also only lost by two to the Auburn Tigers, three to the LSU Tigers and two to the Missouri Tigers. LSU needed a fourth quarter touchdown, and the other two needed last-second field goals.
