These players for Jimbo Fisher will be key against the Tennessee football Volunteers.

For the first time since Jimbo Fisher arrived, the Texas A&M Aggies have a complete team. They don’t rely on video game offensive numbers from individuals this year, but they are loaded with balance and the ability to overwhelm their opponents. That will leave Tennessee football with its hands full when they visit Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. on Saturday.

At 3-6, the Vols aren’t expected to have any chance against the No. 5 ranked team in the nation that is contending for the College Football Playoff. This is A&M’s last chance to make a statement for the committee, so they could be heading into this game determined for a blowout win.

However, if the Vols are going to come through with a miracle and pull off an upset, they’ll have to account for talent all over the field. Which players pose the biggest threat to them? Let’s go ahead and break that down here. These are the five Texas A&M Aggies to watch for against Tennessee football on Saturday.

Running back. Isaiah Spiller. 1. player. Scouting Report. 873. Pick Analysis. Sophomore

6’1″ 225 pounds; Hometown: Spring, Texas

With over 1,000 yards from scrimmage on the year in just eight games, Isaiah Spiller has 150 carries for 904 yards and six touchdowns on the year. He’s averaging right at six yards a carry and is one of the best running backs in the league. It’s probably safe to say he’s the biggest offensive weapon for Fisher and his offense.

In his last three games, Spiller has gone over 100 yards. The balance he brings has allowed for this offense to explode, and in their biggest win of the year, he had his best game, going for over 170 yards and scoring two touchdowns.

Thanks to Henry To’o To’o, Tennessee football’s rush defense hasn’t been that problematic. Over the past two games, they held their opponents to under two yards a game. However, their defensive line does have some issues, and Spiller is elite enough of a player that he still needs to be mentioned on this list.
