Junior college signees: 4

Last year, Tennessee football had no junior college transfers. Although graduate transfers don’t count, junior college signees are factored into the class. The Vols added four this year. Two are initially from South Carolina, one is initially from Florida and one is initially from Kansas.

Three-star offensive lineman Jeremiah Crawford out of Butler County Community College in El Dorado, Kan. was Heupel’s only commitment in the 2021 class. Crawford is initially from Goddard, Kan., stands at 6’6″ and somewhere between 300 and 315 pounds and committed and signed on National Signing Day.

Running back Tiyon Evans out of Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kan. is initially from Hartsville, S.C. and committed on Dec. 16. At 5’9″ 225 pounds, he’s a three-star on Rivals but a four-star on 247Sports and ESPN.

Coby, who we already mentioned, is a three-star wide receiver out of Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, Miss. but is initially from Deerfield Beach, Fla., standing somewhere between 6’0″ and 6’2″ and weighing 170 to 180 pounds. He committed on Jan. 23.

Finally, defensive end Byron Young is a three-star out of Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Ga. who stands at 6’3″ 240 pounds. He initially comes from Hemingway, S.C. and committed and signed on Dec. 16.
