8. Cameron Miller – Wide Receiver

Hometown: Memphis, Tenn. (Memphis Academy of Health and Sciences)

Although this is a solid position for UT right now with guys like Jalin Hyatt, Ramel Keyton, Malachi Wideman and three new guys in the 2021 class, Wide receiver is one of the position groups that no team can ever have enough of. After all, the Vols just lost Josh Palmer and Brandon Johnson and will lose Velus Jones Jr. after next year.

Luckily for the Tennessee football coaching staff, they’ll get a crack at a couple of elite pass-catchers this year. Cameron Miller is the first one of them to make this list, and he’s a prospect with lots of potential.

A 6’1″ 190-pound wideout at the Memphis Academy of Health and Sciences, the West Tennessee prospect already released a list of his top-six teams which includes the Vols. Also included in his final programs are the Oregon Ducks, Memphis Tigers, Ole Miss Rebels, Auburn Tigers, and Alabama Crimson Tide.

Given the proximity of Ole Miss and Memphis to the Memphis, Tenn. native, Josh Heupel could have his work cut out for him in recruiting the flashy skill player. But even Jeremy Pruitt had success poaching talent from that area, and that’s something the Vols’ new coaching staff must accomplish while on Rocky Top.
