3. Tony Livingston

Athlete; Tampa, Fla.

Listed as an athlete on Rivals, Tony Livingston has actually played offensive line, tight end and defensive end. Initially playing offensive line at Seffner Christian Academy in Seffner, Fla., Livingston picked up more skill roles once he moved over to Carrollwood Day High School, making him another player from the Tampa Bay region of Florida on this list.

On 247Sports, Livingston is listed as a tight end. At 6’6″ 225 pounds and as a four-star across the board, it’s safe to say he’ll play either tight end or defensive end at the college level. Either way, though, Tennessee football could fill a need by adding him.

The Vols suffered a decommitment from Hudson Wolfe in their 2021 recruiting class, and Jackson Lowe and Jordan Allen have both transferred away. As a result, they clearly have a need at tight end. Meanwhile, the dismissal of Kivon Bennett, the transfer of Deandre Johnson and the recent release of Dylan Brooks gives them a major need at defensive end.

Simply put, Livingston will fill either void. With that need, Livingston having no favorites and Josh Heupel’s connections to that region given his experience coaching the UCF Knights, UT should go all out in targeting this guy.
