As we get through the midway point of the first week of March, there’s a lot of excitement and anger surrounding different Tennessee Vols programs. Women’s basketball is getting set for the postseason with tons of excitement, and football is filling out a new staff.

Our morning update on Rocky Top touches on stories related to both topics, particularly with postseason recognition that came the way of the Lady Vols. We also have to cover the negative news, though, and that involves the struggles of the men’s basketball program.

Beyond those three sports, we have a baseball preview, a women’s golf recap and an update on track and field players with regards to the NCAA Indoor Championships to bring you. Let’s go ahead and dive in, starting with the basketball news.

Here is a bit of what he said about getting the rest.

"“I think it’s probably good for us right now. We still have some guys that need to get healed up a little bit. They’ve been in here the last couple days trying to work with Chad and G on those type of things. So, from that standpoint it’s been good for us.”"
